Paul Cutler best Irish finisher in Portugal

The Portuguese Amateur Open Championship took place at Aroeira 1 Golf Club in Lisbon from 18th - 21st February. 

Paul Cutler (Portstewart) finished the best of the four players selected by the Golfing Union of Ireland in tenth position finishing on six under par.  The championship title was won by Johann Lopez-Lazaro of France with a score of fourteen under par. 

Alan Dunbar (Rathmore), Robert Cannon (Laytown & Bettystown) and Reeve Whitson (Mourne) all missed the cut.
