PAT JENNINGS TEES OFF RNLI CHARITY MATCH
AT THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE
STAKIS PARK GOLF COURSE

Stakis Park Golf Course, Templepatrick, Northern Ireland, will be officially opened on 1 September by Pat Jennings, the former Northern Ireland and Spurs goalkeepers and world renowned sportsman. The competition will be in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

The new 18 hole PGA championship golf course "The Golf Club" at Stakis Park opened in June this year. The 7000 yard, par 71 golf course cost £1.7 million to develop and is located on 220 acres of parkland on the Castle Upton Estate in Templepatrick, County Antrim. The course is only the second one in Northern Ireland built to US Golf Association specifications and was designed by leading golf professionals, David Feherty and David Jones of Northern Ireland.

The official event will include a team fourball corporate competition led by Pat Jennings and other sports and media personalities including Mark Robson, the Eurosport and Sky Sports commentator and professional golfers David Jones and Eamon Logue, the club's senior professional. A championship dinner will round off the evening.
