Gloucestershire trio bid for Nations Cup in Spain

Three Gloucestershire golfers will represent England in the Nations Cup event at the Spanish ladies' championship which starts today at the Club de Golf La Reserva.

They are Hannah Barwood from Knowle, Charlotte Ellis from  Minchinhampton and Sian James from Bristol & Clifton.

Hannah is the English champion while Charlotte is a past winner of the English mid-amateur title. Both played in England's 2008 Home Internationals team. Sian is a student at Birmingham University and has won her last two college tournaments.
