The 18-year-old from Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, played excellent golf to defeat Spain's Camilla Hedberg Bertrand by 7/6.
Now, Holly meets Mandy Goyos, whose mother, Angela, comes from Lancashire.
The Cartier Trophy is contested by the top 16 girls, aged 18 and under, who missed out on a place in the championship matchplay draw for the Esmond Trophy.
England's sole representative in the Esmond Trophy was defending champion Rachel Jennings of Izaak Walton, Staffordshire. But her reign ended in the first matchplay round when she lost on the 19th to Laura Chemarin of France.
