In-form Meghan MacLaren won her second title in three weeks when she became the Midlands South regional champion.
Meghan, who trains with EWGA's Select Midlands Squad, is also the English schools' champion.
The 16-year-old, from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, claimed her latest victory when she beat Tilly Magill (Woburn) in a low-scoring final at The Oxfordshire, when both players were below par.
There was never more than one hole between the finalists and they were all square going up the 18th. Megan set up her win with a superb second shot into the green and finished the match three-under par.
Tilly set a new course record of seven-under 65 in the first qualifying round and went on to lead the qualifiers by eight shots after carding a second round 74. Meghan was second with scores of 77, 70
The championship was contested by players from six counties: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire & Herefordshire. Oxfordshire's team of Tilly Magill, Abi Laker and Jane Binning won the County Shield. The best handicap prize was won by Kyre Ros-Madden (Warks); best intermediate by Jessica Burrows (Bucks); and best junior by Gemma Glenister (Worcs & Heref)
