Glorious run for England pair in Sunningdale Foursomes

England internationals Charlotte Wild (pictured above) and Nikki Foster had a glorious run in the Sunningdale Foursomes which ended only in the final.

The teenagers won five rounds to make their way through the huge field to the final. But there they met their match - just - and were beaten by one hole.

Charlotte, 19, (Mere) and Nikki, 18, (Pleasington) are a tried and tested partnership having previously paired up to win the Northern foursomes championship.

They both represented England in the 2009 Home Internationals and Nikki was also in the winning girls' Home International team.  Charlotte is the reigning English strokeplay champion while Nikki is the Lancashire girls' titleholder.
