Golf Skills Cymru launches at Celtic Manor

Test your golf skills against Rhys Davies and the rest of the golfers in Wales.

Wednesday, June 1 st , 2.30pm at the Golf Development Wales area in the tented village at the Saab Wales Open, TwentyTen Course, Celtic Manor.

Rhys Davies will help launch Golf Skills Cymru, a series of tests of golfing skills which earn points - all the scores from anyone around Wales can be put on a national leaderboard.

Rhys Davies will take part in the putting tests - anyone who beats his score during the Saab Wales Open will get a certificate.

There will also be schoolchildren from around Wales at the Golf Development Wales area in the tented village where they will have a go at the putting tests on specially Huxley greens.

Golf Skills Cymru is the brainchild of Welsh speaking Golf Development Wales officer Dilwyn Griffiths who will be available for interview. Rhys Davies will also be available for interview.
