Annual Lancashire V Lancashire Ladies Golf Match for 2012

On Sunday 15 th April 2012, Ashton-Under-Lyne Golf Club hosted the annual Lancashire vs. Lancashire Ladies golf match, this start of the season fixture is fiercely contested yearly between the some of the County's finest ladies and gents golfers.

After a 7 - 5 victory in 2011 at Hesketh Golf Club, Lancashire Ladies were keen to retain their crown at Ashton-Under-Lyne on Sunday.

The foursomes in the morning saw both team share the four points leaving everything to play for in the afternoon, as with the mornings matches points were shared right up to the final match which the ladies won 3 and 2.
