New Get into golf sessions in Staffordshire 18th November 2012 STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY GOLF PARTNERSHIP WINTER may be on the way - but it is still a good time to give golf a go in Staffordshire. Taster sessions and discounted coaching are on offer at golf clubs across the county as part of the national campaign to encourage more people to take up the sport. And the clubs are even swapping the fairways for aisleways to help spread the message. Customers at the Trentham Estate garden centre's Christmas event - which takes place on November 30 (6pm-8pm) on Stone Road - can try hitting real golf balls in a special inflatable net. Lichfield Golf & Country Club is offering free taster sessions - with equipment provided - between December and March. The sessions will be held on December 8 (2pm), January 10 (7pm), January 26 (1pm), February 21 (7pm) and March 9 (1pm).
