AMERICAN GOLF-UK'S THIRD ANNUAL WOMEN
IN GOLF DAY DRAWS OVER 2000 WOMEN

American Golf-UK's Women in Golf day is now well established as an annual fixture with the third event, held on 8th April, repeating the phenomenal success of last year's event with over 2,100 ladies attending the day.

Staged at all 19 private, resort and daily fee golf courses operated by American Golf-UK in England, Women in Golf Day is designed to introduce golf to women in a fun, non-intimidating environment and is open to women of all ages and skill levels. In addition to golf instructional clinics taught by professionals, Women in Golf Day activities included golf etiquette lessons, putting contests, luncheons and refreshments, raffles and other exciting events custom designed by each participating course.

While all activities were free of charge, American Golf was delighted to continue its sponsorship of Marie Curie Cancer Care by running fun competitions and giving participants the opportunity to support the charity in its ever increasing battle against cancer. Over £1,500 was raised for the charity.
