This October,
Lady Golfers in the South East of England are invited to tee off
to support Imperial Cancer Research Funds pioneering research into
breast cancer. The charity is part of the international drive to
raise awareness of the disease, and to raise funds for the research
into finding new answers to the causes, prevention and treatment
of breast cancer.
American Golf
(UK) with the support of Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd, is hosting an
event on 2nd October at Pyrford Golf Club in Woking,
Surrey, Pyrford Golf Club is one of the 20 golf clubs that American
Golf (UK) currently owns and operates. We are delighted to have
the support of the golfing community said Jools Trait, Breast Cancer
Awareness Month co-ordinator for Imperial Cancer. She adds: Our
special thanks to American Golf (UK) for their support and the chance
to launch what we hope will be an important and enjoyable annual
event in which women at any level can take part.

in the UK, thanks to early detention, prompt surgery and drug treatments
such as Tamoxifen. The largest cancer research institute in Europe,
