Emma Duggleby won the European Individual Championship in a three
hole play-off against Tania Elosegui of Spain. She becomes the first
English player to win the European title since Joanne Morley in
1992.
With a final
round of 68, four under par, Duggleby caught Elosegui to tie on
283 at the Amber Baltic Golf Club in Poland. Three pars in the playoff
were sufficient after her opponent�s opening tee shot found water.
Rebecca Hudson finished in a tie for fourth place with a final round
of 72� and a total of 287.
