Faldo
Revises Junior Series
Nick Faldo
has introduced a new age band to the Faldo Junior Series. The 18-21
group is aimed specifically at ensuring that talented young golfers
continue to progress during the later stages of their golfing education.
"When
players reach the age of 18, they often hit a void in their golfing
career. By introducing the 18-21 category, I can keep in touch with
our top boys and girls and continue to help them reach their full
potential," said the six-times major winner.
The newly formed
under-21 section requires a handicap limit of five. Players will
compete in three regional events, with the leaders from each region
qualifying for the end-of-year Faldo Junior Series final, hosted
by the former world No 1 himself.
Participants
will also benefit from a series of educational seminars on many
