Haverhill Classic to Fund Cancer Tests

England's Haverhill Golf Club's third Charity Classic, on Saturday, June 10, will help finance the testing of new cancer drugs at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

In addition to the main handicap competition featuring around 30 teams of four players each over the Suffolk club's newly-commissioned 18-hole layout, there will be a variety of other prizes including one for the best-dressed team.

Snooker star Willie Thorne, who played in the two previous Charity Classics, is again expected to take part.
