Sandmartins' Teams in Good Heart

Two teams from Sandmartins Golf Club near Reading came second and third in the preliminary round of the British Heart Foundation (BHF) junior competition at Clandon Regis in Surrey.

The teams will contest the regional final in June at Marriott Goodwood Park in West Sussex.

The team which came second were Dominic White, Derrick Meulman and Lee Wanklyn with an aggregate 73 Stableford points, while three points behind in third place were Matt Pulford, Carl Norman and Colin Meulman.

The day raised �1,400 for the BHF while Clandon Regis provided their facilities free of charge.
