The Heart of Texas Golf Tour

The Heart of Texas Tour is a non-profit organization. The aim is to build, promote and conduct Pro/Am golf events, to provide an environment for members to compete and to offer quality entertainment to the golfing public.

The schedule consists of 1 day, 18 hole individual stroke play events held at various courses around Texas. Amateurs only compete against amateurs...and professionals only compete against professionals. Fields for these events are limited to 132 players. There are no cuts and no qualifying rounds.

All tournaments are played on challenging, well known courses near the cities of San Antonio, Austin and Houston. Purses are distributed so that more players have a realistic opportunity to cover their expenses (33+% of the playing field receives checks).
