England�s Alison Waller leads in
Italy after curtailed first round

A one under par 33 for the first nine holes gave Alison Waller the lead at the end of the first days play when lightning caused first a suspension of play then abandonment, only the first nine holes counting.� Torrential rain made any play at all extremely difficult with Waller�s score the only one under par.� England�s Kerry Knowles was two shots behind on 35.
