La Manga Triumph

Tom Webber mastered La Manga's South Course to lead West Midlands club Shirley to an emphatic victory over Izaac Walton of Staffordshire in the final of the Saab/Daily Mail junior interclub championships.

The Solihull side's captain carded a net 69 to seal a 19-stroke victory. Webber was backed up by Chris Thornton, Daniel Smith, Thomas McGann, Chris Jauncey and Lee Hall.
