THE LORD TAVERNERS INTERNATIONAL GOLF CLASSIC

Some new challenges lie ahead of competitors on this year's Lord Taverner's International Golf Classic, which takes place on 16th and 17th May.

This popular 4 man team event (in any combination) which attracts entries from all over the UK, has been extended to incorporate two days of competitive golf, by popular request.

Previously staged on courses in and around Deauville, this year's Classic will be played on some of Brittany's finest and most popular courses. Players who travel to France, courtesy of Brittany Ferries, sail from Plymouth or Portsmouth, then drive to their choice of location, St Malo or Rennes.

Peneuf Val Andre, Le Tronchet, Freslonnlere, Rennes St Jacques and Cice-Blossac will undoubtedly provide a good test for golfers of all abilities, a key feature of previous Classics.

Within the cost of £170 per person, each competitor receives a Welcome Pack and Commemorative Item, in addition to an overnight stay in a quality hotel, within easy reach of their course.

Away from golf, the trip provides the ideal opportunity to restock your wine supplies and to sample excellent french cuisine.
