LOTHIANS AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

On Saturday 6th May, the qualifying rounds were held for probably the major amateur tournament in the East of Scotland. The event is open to amateur golfers of 5 handicap or less from golf clubs in East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian and Edinburgh. The field is limited to 150 from which 32 qualifiers emerge to take part in the match play stages to be held on 8th May at the Royal Burgess Golfiing Society wtih finals on Saturday 13th May.
