WELSH GOLFING UNION:
VICTORY SHIELD 2000

The 2000 Victory Shield Championship has attracted an entry from 111 clubs.

Defending Champions, Neath open their account against St Mary's, whilst last year's runners-up, Llanwern take on arch rivals Newport in what promises to be the draw of the round. The preliminary around must be completed by Monday 3rd April 2000. This year's semi-finals and final will again precede the Welsh Amateur Championship at Royal St David's, Harlech and will take place on 1 August 2000.
