BRITISH
EPILEPSY ASSOCIATION HOLDS INAUGURAL TEAM GOLF DAY
British
Epilepsy Association has announced they are set to hold a company
team golf day, to be held at the prestigious Moor Allerton Golf
Course, Leeds, on Wednesday 12th September 2001. The
event is being sponsored by Chartered Accountants & Registered
Auditors Bentley Jennison.
Companies
are encouraged to enter teams of four into the event where they
can win the top prize of a SEAT Leon 1.8 Turbo car for a hole in
one which was supplied by JCT600 SEAT Leeds. Other prizes will be
awarded for the longest drive and nearest the pin. Companies are
also encouraged to sponsor the event and can do this by having a
company banner on a designated hole.
BEA
Fundraiser Paul Tranter said that "This is a great opportunity
for anyone with an interest in golf to raise funds for charity.
With the money raised, BEA will be able to continue improving the
quality of life of those with epilepsy and supporting vital research
into the condition."
The
day will comprise of teams of four competing against each other
to get the lowest handicaps. The day starts at 1200 hrs with light
refreshments followed by a 1300 2-tee start. Dinner and prize presentation
will start at 1900 hrs and the evening will conclude at approximately
2130hrs.
British
Epilepsy Association provides information and support for people
