Juniors Backed by Bank of Scotland

The Bank of Scotland are to sponsor the Scottish Golf Union's Junior Masters tournament this year.
The competition is contested by more than 2,500 children from throughout Scotland with the leading 50 boys and 30 girls qualifying for the Grand Final.

The current champions are Paul White and Deli Skinner, both 16.

National golf coach Ian Rae said: "These players are the stars of the future and
their talents need to be nurtured and developed."

Skinner said: "I watched the Solheim Cup at Loch Lomond and Europe's win
was great. It inspired me to really train and practise hard. If I continue to train I hope that some day I will be in a winning Solheim Cup team."
