THE RYDER CUP WITH DE VERE

Golfers across the length and breadth of the UK are being urged to up their game and increase their chance to secure tickets for the world's greatest golf event to be held in September at The De Vere Belfry.

National hotel and leisure group De Vere has asked over 3,00 golf clubs across the UK to nominate their best performing player to enter a draw for one of four pairs of Ryder Cup course tickets.

Bill Gosing, De Vere's sales and marketing director explained: "We hold a very privileged place in golfing history as The De Vere Belfry is the only venue in the world to stage the Ryder Cup matches four times."

"For many golfers setting foot on the famous Brabazon Course is a major ambilition and to see some of the world's greatest golfers in action is nothing short of a dream come true. But this opportunity is about recognising those people who are as dedicated to golf as we are at De Vere."

"All golfers, who have played in their club's medal competition between now and 13 August 2001, are eligible. It is then up to their club secretary to nominate the plyaer from the club with the best net score of the season for the prize draw and return the club entry form before 20 August".

The four competition winners and their guests, will see at first hand how De Vere's £2.5 million course investment provides the ultimate challenge for any golfer and an exciting experience for spectators.

Other prizes include golf breaks at the De Vere Belfry with golf on the famous Brabazon course, 2001 Ryder Cup merchandise and every player nominated by their club will automatically receive a limited edition Ryder Cup pin badge.
