Ladies� Golf Challenge Needs Teams For 2001

� Winner of the 1997 US Women�s Open � is supporting the Wella Ladies�
Golf Challenge in 2001 to help leading medical charity Action Research
raise funds as part of its Touching Lives campaign.
Action Research
is appealing to lady golfers across the UK to dedicate one of their
regular club days to the challenge. The club that raises the most
money for the charity will receive two VIP tickets to the 2002 British
Open Golf Championship taking place at Muirfield, near Edinburgh
between the 18 and 21 July.
Wella will provide
each participating club with a selection of vouchers for use at
over 1,000 professional hairdressing salons nationwide along with
Silvikrin and Vosene products. Other incentives are available for
clubs that raise over �250.
Alison Nicholas
is keen for fellow lady golfers to support the vital work that Action
Research funds: "Anyone of us, at any time, may find ourselves
in a situation where we benefit from this research."
