WGU: KONICA ORDER
OF MERIT
PRICE RISES
David Price the Portuguese
Amateur Champion collected 100 Konica Order of Merit points after
winning the Carad Trophy at the weekend with a total of 277 strokes,
1 under par.
Price collected the
Cardiff Feathers with scores of 67 and 72 at Cardiff Golf Club while
Alex Smith won the Radyr Salver and claimed third place in the overall
event.
Stuart Manley from
Mountain Ash collected 60 order of merit points for his second place
finish.
As a result of Price�s
victory he moves from 12th to 8th place on
the order of merit table while Manley climbs 5 places from 15th
to 10th.
The next event
is the St David�s Gold Cross at Royal St David�s, Harlech on 14/15
July 2001.
