TEE OFF FOR CHARITY
|
Brunelcare's
fourth Amateur Golf Tournament sponsored
by BWCA Healthcare raised a fantastic £6,178 to help fund
the charity's work with older people of limited means.
The
tournament was held at Mendip Spring Golf Club in Congresbury, Bristol
and was played over 18 holes with over 25 teams of four players
taking part from organisations across the region.
The
winners, Watson Wyatt Partners, scooped the Brunelcare silver trophy,
which they are entitled to keep for one year, as well as individual
commemorative Blue Glass awards given by BWCA Healthcare.
The
second prize went to KPMG and the third prize to Bideem Construction.
Richard O'Callagahan of Watson Wyatt won the longest drive and John
Fairman of Healthwise Ltd was nearest the pin and Pete Mercer of
County Contractors won the putting competition.
