BRITISH HEAT OF WORLD LONG
DRIVING CHAMPIONSHIP

The British heat of the World Long Driving Championship takes place at Portal Golf & Country Club in Cheshire on 6 September. The winner will go through to the World Finals in Mesquite, Nevada in October.

The entry fee is £20 for six balls and players can enter as many times as they like. The length of the shot is measured from the tee to where the ball comes to rest and it must be within the fairway. Competitors will have five minutes to hit six balls.

The competition is open to professionals and amateurs and the equipment used must be USGA approved. Balls will be Pinnacle Gold supplied by Titleist.
