UK Team Take Third Spot

The four-man United Kingdom team finished third in the fourth annual Lexus European Golf Club at La Manga Club in southern Spain.

The quartet - Gordon Green (Notts), David Ford (Chevin), Peter Gooch (Hellidon Lakes) and Peter Ramsden (Kedleston Park) who won the UK final at Wentworth in September - accumulated 92 Stableford points over the Dave Thomas-designed West Course, eight behind winners Portugal and runners-up Belgium.
