MITSUBISHI EXPRESS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
TEES UP FOR THE FINAL STAGE

Twenty amateur golfers from across the UK have qualified for the final of the Mitsubishi Motors / Daily Express 1999 Golf Championships which takes place at the Valderrama golf course in Spain in September. Over 70,000 people entered the competition initially, making it one of the UK's largest amateur golf competitions.

The two-day semi-final of the competition took place at the Warwickshire Golf Course on 23-24 August. The 20 winners will be flown over to the world famous Valderamma course near Sotogrande in Southern Spain next month to have the round of their lives.
