PRICES FOR 2000 OPEN AT ST. ANDREWS
Sunday 16th - Sunday 23rd July
The
demand for tickets for the Millennium Open at St. Andrews has already
started and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club have therefore announced
prices a little earlier than usual.
Season
tickets represent the best value for money and if purchased before
31st January will be available at the lowest price of �95.00.
"In
line with our policy of continuing to offer the public value for
money, we have priced our tickets at a competitive level compared
with other major sporting events," said R&A Championship Secretary
David Hill. "In addition, we are continuing our commitment to junior
golf by allowing accompanied under-16's in free of charge and admitting
16-21 year olds at greatly reduced prices. Senior citizens charges
remain at half price."
Season
tickets can be purchased at substantially discounted rates until
30th April and after that they will cost �115.00.
