Anyone know how to book St Marlo golf tee times?

I’m planning to hit the links at St. Marlo Golf Club soon and was hoping to get some advice on the best way to book tee times. Here’s what I’m looking for:

1. Tee Time Booking Options

  • Does the club have an online reservation system?
  • Are there any specific times that get booked fast?

2. Membership Perks

  • If anyone is a member at St. Marlo, do you get discounts or priority booking?

3. Recommendations

  • What times of day are best for a round in terms of crowd levels?

I’m a bit new to the area and want to make sure I can secure a good time without a hassle. Any tips or tricks would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can book tee times at St. Marlo Golf Club online through their official website. It’s pretty straightforward; just select your date and time!

I prefer calling them directly! Sometimes you can get insider info on available slots that aren’t listed online.

In-person bookings can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but I find it’s best if you go early in the morning. That’s when the staff is less busy.

Good call, @andrew08! I also learned that you can often find special deals for tee times if you book early or during off-peak hours.

Has anyone tried using any golf booking apps? Some friends swear by them, and I’ve heard they can get you better rates.

I have used a couple of apps, @vkramer, and they can be helpful! Just read the reviews before you dive into one to ensure it’s reputable.

Can’t forget about the membership discounts! If you play often, consider getting a membership. It pays off in the long run!

All these tips are great! Are there any specific requirements when booking, like needing a handicap or anything?

Not that I’m aware of, @mollystrong. You just need to provide basic info and payment details when booking. Depending on the time, it might get busy, though.

What about cancellations? How strict are they on that if you need to change plans?

Cancellations are generally friendly, but it’s best to check the policy when you book. Always good to be prepared!

Hey everyone! I recently booked a tee time at St. Marlo, and I’ve learned that early mornings, around 7 AM, are usually less crowded. If you want to avoid peak hours, that’s a great time!

I totally agree! Weekend mornings can get super busy. If you can, aim for a weekday afternoon—much quieter plus nicer weather!

Also, has anyone checked the course maintenance schedule? I heard they do maintenance every Tuesday, so definitely avoid booking then if you want a pristine course.

Great point! Just a heads up, checking the weather can change your plans too. Rain can influence both course condition and tee time availability.

That’s true! I think St. Marlo is least crowded around 2 PM, especially in the summer. Go for a later round and enjoy the sunset while playing!

Absolutely! Just remember, it can get a bit hot around 2 PM, especially in July. Bring plenty of water!

Do they accept walk-ups, or is booking necessary? I’d love to try out the course but don’t want to deal with strict schedules.

Walk-ups can be a gamble sometimes. I recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends when the course fills up quickly.
