Anyone tried the HZRDUS Black Gen 4 shaft? Looking for reviews!

The HZRDUS Black Gen 4 is really versatile. I switched from a Project X shaft, and the overall feel is much smoother while still maintaining a low spin. It might help if you are struggling with ballooning drivers!

Great point! What flex do you use? I’m curious if the stiffer versions affect launch angle.

I use the 60g stiff version, it’s been a game-changer for me. The feedback is fantastic, and I noticed improved distance as well. The flex definitely plays a role in launch and spin.

That’s so true! What launch angle have you been getting with that setup?

I get a pretty consistent mid-launch angle around 13 degrees with my setup. The stability is stellar! If you’re looking for something that delivers, I highly recommend it.

That’s encouraging to hear! Do you think the weight is a significant factor in those results?

Absolutely! The weight impacts swing speed and control. The 70g version feels just right for me, but if you prefer lighter, the 50g might work better for faster swings.

Interesting! I tend to prefer lighter shafts. How’s the feel of the 50g in terms of stability?

I found the 50g version to be surprisingly stable! Just ensure you have the right technique, or it can feel a bit whippy. But overall, it’s a solid option for lighter swings.

So true! Definitely helps to have a good swing to maximize performance. Any thoughts on spin rates with the lighter shaft?

Spin rates have been quite manageable with the 50g shaft! I was worried about excessive spin, but it’s pretty balanced. Give it a shot if you’re aiming for control!

That’s great to hear! Did you find it worked well in different conditions, like wind or rough?

Yes! The stability carries well into tough conditions. I’ve played windy courses and still felt confident with the shaft’s performance. Highly recommend it for various play settings.

That’s awesome! I just hope it doesn’t turn out like my last shaft, which was good until the first wind gust hit!

I’ve been using the HZRDUS Black Gen 4 for the past year, and it has held up remarkably well. No noticeable wear or issues, really impressed with the durability!

That’s great to hear! I was concerned about the wear and tear since I play a lot.

I’ve tried a few shafts, but the HZRDUS Black Gen 4 stands out in terms of build quality. The grip feels solid, and it has a nice weight to it.

For those worried about durability, I’ve had mine for six months with no issues at all. It seems to be built to last.

I have to agree with tmills! The weight distribution feels perfect, and the shaft itself seems really sturdy.

Does anyone have long-term use feedback? I’ve heard mixed reviews about shafts lasting under heavy use.
