Best Golf Shoes for Comfort and Performance?

Hey everyone, I’m looking to upgrade my golf shoes and I’m torn between comfort and performance. What are your recommendations for the best golf shoes that offer both?

Great question, Donna! I’ve tried a few brands, and the FootJoy Pro/SLs are my go-to. Super comfortable and they provide excellent traction. Definitely worth considering!

I’ve heard a lot of good things about FootJoy! How do they hold up in wet conditions?

I personally swear by the Adidas Tour 360s. They’re stylish, comfy, and the grip is phenomenal. Just make sure to try them on first, sizing can vary!

The Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tours are awesome too. Super comfortable and they look great. Plus, they’re super light!

I’m curious, has anyone tried the spikeless shoes? I’m wondering if they offer the same level of performance.

I have! Spikeless shoes like the ECCO Biom Hybrids are surprisingly good. They’re very comfortable and provide solid grip, though maybe not as much as spiked shoes on very wet grass.

You guys need to check out the Puma Ignite PWRADAPT Caged. They’re awesome! I love how they fit snugly but don’t squeeze your feet too much.

For those of us with wider feet, the New Balance Fresh Foam LinksSL are fantastic. They offer great comfort and pretty solid performance.

Seems like we have a lot of choices here! Has anyone faced any specific problems with any brand?

I’ve had some Adidas shoes that started wearing out after a season, but that might just be me being rough on them. Overall, they’re great shoes.

Thanks for the insights! Might give spikeless a try next time!

I love my Skechers Go Golf shoes! They’re incredibly comfortable and have great support. On performance, they’ve held up really well.

Skechers for golf? That’s a new one. I always thought they were more for casual wear.

Haha, I thought the same until I tried them. Give them a shot!

I’ve been pretty loyal to Under Armour HOVR Drives. Great balance of comfort and performance, plus they come in some cool designs!

Reflecting on this thread, it’s interesting how personal preference plays such a huge role in choosing the right golf shoes. So many good options out there!

Anyone here tried Skechers Go Golf Elite? They’re on my radar, curious to hear your thoughts.

I second this! I’ve been super happy with mine.

Callaway seems underrated in this discussion. Any Callaway shoe fans here?
