I’ve tested the Callaway Apex and found them great for feel, but they felt less forgiving than the G5s. If you’re a casual golfer, the G5 might suit you better. It really shines on mishits.
The G5 is a solid choice for moderate swings. However, I hear the TaylorMade P790 is also very forgiving with impressive distance. Anyone here tried those?

I have tried the P790s! They were great but a bit heavy for my taste. The G5s felt lighter in hand and easier to control.
G5s are definitely user-friendly! But if you’re looking for a more modern feel, I’d say the Srixon ZX7 is worth a look too! It has nice tech without losing that classic appeal.
