M2 3 Wood Review: What Do You Think?

I’ve recently been considering adding the M2 3 wood to my bag, and I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with it. I’m particularly interested in how it performs in terms of:

Distance

  • How far are you hitting it compared to your previous 3 wood?
  • Does it hold up in windy conditions?

Accuracy

  • Do you find it easy to keep on the fairway?
  • Any issues with slicing or hooking?

Feel and Forgiveness

  • How does it feel at impact?
  • Is it forgiving on off-center hits?

Comparisons

  • How does it stack up against other 3 woods you’ve tried?
  • Would you recommend it over something like the TaylorMade SIM or Callaway Epic?

I’m looking for detailed feedback, whether it’s from your own playing experience or reviews you’ve come across. Your input could really help me make a decision, so thank you in advance for sharing!

Feel free to share any tips or tricks you have for getting the most out of the M2 as well! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I’ve been using the M2 3 wood for about a month now, and I have to say, it’s been great for distance. I’d say I gain at least 10 yards compared to my old club.

That’s awesome to hear! I’ve noticed the same distance improvement. It really shines when hitting off the tee.

I find the M2 pretty forgiving on mishits. For a golfer like me, that’s a big plus. Have you noticed that too?

Absolutely! It’s nice to have a club that helps out when you don’t hit it perfectly.

Accuracy has been consistent for me. I can rely on it through the fairway without much worry.

How does the feel of the M2 compare with other woods? I’m currently using a Callaway and feel it’s a little better weighted.

I think the M2 has a solid feel, definitely more responsive than my older clubs. It feels premium, for sure.

I’ve been struggling with the club’s weight. It feels a bit light to me, but I’m getting used to it. Is that common?

I found it light, too, at first. It took a few rounds, but now I appreciate how it helps in my swing.

Just to add some humor, when I swing it wrong, I seem to invent new golf terminology! But overall, I’m enjoying the M2.

I’ve had the M2 3 wood for a couple of seasons now and I must say, it’s a solid performer. The distance and accuracy are on point compared to my old TaylorMade Jetspeed. It excels in forgiveness too.

I’ve also switched from a Jetspeed to the M2 3 wood, and I agree! The M2 feels a bit lighter, which helps my swing speed.

I’ve played with various woods, including the Callaway Epic. While the Epic has great distance, I find the M2’s feel on contact more satisfying. Anyone else feel the same?

Totally! The M2 gives you that nice pop off the face, unlike the Ping G400 I had before.

I love how the M2’s adjustable loft helps tailor my shot shape. It’s impressive how it stacks up against others like the Titleist 917F2, which also has adjustable features.

The M2 does have that nice adjustability! But I wonder if it’s really necessary if you’re already good with a fixed loft model? Any thoughts?

That’s a fair point! For some players, sticking with what works is best. I think it adds versatility, but not everyone will utilize that feature.

Does anyone else find the M2 a bit on the pricey side? I love it, but it makes me wonder if I could get comparable performance from a cheaper model like the Cobra F9.

I’ve tried the Cobra F9, and while it’s good, the M2 just feels more refined. Like my golf game, the M2 is worth the investment!
