Not at all! I feel the same way! It really boosts confidence on the green.
While I appreciate the design, I do think it can be a bit too heavy for some players. That might turn off newer golfers.
I can see that viewpoint, @virginiagutierrez, but I think the weight contributes to stability during the stroke. It helps me, at least.

Overall, despite a few issues, I’d say the Ray Cook putter performs well. Just don’t expect miracles overnight! Though I wish it could read my mind.
I’ve been using the Ray Cook putter for a couple of months now, and it’s great for the price. It performs well, especially compared to higher-ended models like the Odyssey and TaylorMade. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid deal!
I completely agree! I tried the Ray Cook alongside my old Scotty Cameron, and while the Scotty feels a bit more refined, the Cook offers better value. More money doesn’t necessarily mean a better game!

How does the weight of the Ray Cook compare to others? I’ve tried heavier putters like the Ping and found them more stable.
I’ve also noticed the Ray Cook is lighter than most. It definitely helps with quick greens, but heavier putters might give you better control overall. Just depends on your personal preference!
As a beginner, I found the Ray Cook easier to use than some of the premium options. For a budget-friendly putter, it has nice balance and feel.

I’ve recently switched to the Ray Cook from a Callaway, and I must say, the feel is much better for my putting style. I’ve also saved a few bucks!
That’s interesting, I’m curious about the grip as well. Does it feel standard like other brands, or does it offer something unique?

The grip is quite comfortable, similar to the ones on Ping putters. I really like it, and it enhances my overall confidence when putting!
I’ve seen some reviews claiming it’s overrated, but honestly, I think it competes fairly with popular brands for the price. Have you all faced any issues with durability?
So far, mine has held up well. For a budget option, it definitely gives a good bang for the buck! Not all putters need to be high-end to perform.
