Thoughts on the Hzrdus Smoke Black Shaft?

I’m considering upgrading my golf setup and I’ve been hearing a lot about the Hzrdus Smoke Black shaft. I wanted to gather some insights from those who have had experience with it. Here are a few things I’m curious about:

Performance

  • How does it affect ball flight? I’ve read it offers a lower launch and spin, but how noticeable is that in practice?
  • For those who have switched to this shaft, did you see a significant improvement in distance or accuracy?

Feel and Feedback

  • What’s the overall feel like during a swing? Does it feel stable and responsive?
  • Any particular swing speeds or styles that you think it’s best suited for?

Comparison with Other Shafts

  • How does it stack up against other popular shafts like the Tensei or the Ventus? If anyone has experience with multiple options, I’d love to hear your comparisons.

Recommendations

  • Would you recommend the Hzrdus Smoke Black for a mid-to-high handicapper looking to improve their game, or is it more tailored for advanced players?

I appreciate any feedback or experiences you can share—it’ll really help in making my decision! Thanks in advance!

I’ve been using the Hzrdus Smoke Black shaft for a few months, and I’ve definitely noticed an increase in distance. It feels really stable during the swing.

That’s great to hear! I’ve found that the stability also improves my accuracy. How is it for you in windy conditions?

I’ve struggled a bit with control using the Hzrdus Smoke Black. Sometimes it feels like it wants to pull to the right instead of straight.

Sorry to hear that! Have you tried adjusting your grip or stance? It helped me when I had similar issues.

The Hzrdus Smoke Black has given me a consistent ball flight, but I wonder if it’s just my swing improving? Anyone got data to back it up?

I’ve noticed that too. It really boosts my confidence on the tee. I used TrackMan data and gained about 10 yards with it!

I haven’t done any formal testing, but I feel like my drives are engaged much more since switching to this shaft. Plenty of pop!

Exactly! It’s like I’ve unlocked a new gear, especially on my longer clubs. Who knew a shaft could change everything?

I just use it for my driver; any thoughts on how it performs with different woods? I’m tempted to switch my 3-wood to it.

I use it for my 3-wood and it’s made a noticeable difference in control! The ball seems to sit better on the fairway as well.

Interesting! I might have to give that a shot! What length did you stick with for the 3-wood?

How do you think this shaft compares with other high-end shafts like the Tensei or Atmos? Anyone done a side-by-side?

I have a friend who tried both, and he favored the Hzrdus for its stability and low spin. Worth testing for sure.

Is it normal to feel a bit more fatigued after rounds using the Hzrdus Smoke Black? It feels heavier than my last shaft.

I’ve felt that a bit too! Maybe it’s just the learning curve of getting used to a new flex and weight.

Just bought one and haven’t had a chance to try it out, but I’m really excited! I hope it’s all it’s cracked up to be.

You’ll love it! Just remember to take your time to adjust. You’ll be crushing drives in no time!

I’ve been using the Hzrdus Smoke Black shaft for a few months now, and I really appreciate the stability and low spin it provides. It feels fantastic during my swings, much better than my old shaft.

That’s great to hear, haydenbanks! How do you think it compares to, say, the Tensei Pro Orange in terms of feel and performance?
