I totally agree! There’s something special about practical effects that you just don’t get with CGI. Remember the fight scenes in ‘Die Hard’? Pure adrenaline!
One classic action movie that doesn’t get the love it deserves is ‘The Last Dragon’ (1985). It’s got martial arts, a great soundtrack, and a unique story. Perfect blend of action and comedy!
Totally agree! I love how it mixes genres. Another gem is ‘Rolling Thunder’ (1977). It’s gritty and has a haunting vibe that sticks with you.

‘The Warriors’ is a great call. It’s got that iconic look and feel. Also, ‘Blade Runner’ (1982) is excellent. It’s more sci-fi but has enough action to qualify as a classic in my book.

I love that film! But I’d throw in ‘The Hunt For Red October’ (1990). It’s suspenseful, and there’s enough action to keep viewers on the edge of their seats!
