One of the best courses in South Carolina has to be Harbour Town Golf Links. It’s known for its stunning views and the iconic lighthouse! The course has such rich history and is a must-play for any golfer.

Absolutely! I’ve played there twice, and the back nine is spectacular. The design is tricky but so rewarding if you handle the challenges right!

Kiawah Island is another gem! The Ocean Course hosted the 2012 PGA Championship, and rightfully so. The coastal scenery is breathtaking and adds so much to your experience.

I second Kiawah! The course is long and challenging. If you’re up for a serious game, this is the place. Plus, the wildlife around is amazing—just don’t let the alligators distract you!

Thanks for the recommendations! What about any lesser-known courses that offer great value? Any hidden gems you’ve played?

I’d suggest checking out the Congaree Golf Club. It’s exclusive but their mission is admirable—they aim to support youth initiatives. Plus, the layout is excellent!

Do any of you know if Pinehurst is worth the trek from SC? I’ve heard it’s one of the premier spots for a golf getaway. Would love your thoughts!

Pinehurst is definitely worth it, but if you’re in SC, don’t miss on the local courses! The Southern hospitality there makes golf even more enjoyable.

Another course to check out is the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. It’s classic with a nice blend of challenge and fun. Perfect for a day out with friends!

I love that course! It has some of the best views while you’re putting. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxed day!

If you are after something with a little flair, try the Ocean Course at Kiawah. The wind can really test your skills. Just bring your A-game!

Haha, bringing the A-game is a must! I once got caught in a huge storm while out there, talk about testing skills!

I keep hearing about the Sanctuary Golf Club. Any opinions? I’ve heard both good and bad—curious if they’re worth crossing off my list!

It’s a beautiful course, but definitely a tough one! Make sure you’re prepared for it. But worth the challenge, in my opinion!

South Carolina is home to some stunning golf courses! You can’t miss places like Harbour Town Golf Links or Kiawah Island Resort. Both offer amazing amenities, from top-notch clubhouses to fantastic dining options.

Absolutely love Harbour Town! The view from the 18th hole is iconic. The pro shop has some great merchandise too!

If you’re planning to visit, keep in mind that some courses have specific dress codes. Generally, collared shirts and no denim are standard. Always a good idea to check ahead!

Great tip! I learned the hard way at a country club. At least the food was stellar while I waited!

Kiawah Island has some amazing dining options. You should definitely try their Atlantic Room for dinner; the seafood is to die for!
