What are the best golf courses in Jacksonville?

I’m planning a golf trip to Jacksonville and I’m on the lookout for the best golf courses to play! Whether you have personal favorites or heard a lot about some courses, I’d love to get your recommendations. Here are a few things I’m particularly interested in:

  • Course Quality: I’d like to know about the layout and conditions.
  • Cost-Effectiveness: Any budget-friendly options would be a plus!
  • Highlight Features: What makes your recommended courses stand out? Any holes or views I shouldn’t miss?
  • Reviews & Ratings: Any insights from personal experience or reliable reviews would be great!

Thanks in advance for your help! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and maybe planning my itinerary around your recommendations!

One of the highest-rated golf courses in Jacksonville is TPC Sawgrass. The 17th hole, known as the ‘Island Green’, is iconic! Definitely a must-visit for any serious golfer.

Absolutely! I played there last summer and it was a thrilling experience. The course is tough but worth it!

If you’re looking for something more affordable, check out the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club. Great course, and the ocean views are fantastic!

Can’t help but love bringing my buddies there for a weekend round. It’s relaxed and fun!

I’ve heard great things about Eagle Harbor Golf Club. Well-maintained and challenging. Anyone been there?

Yes! Eagle Harbor is fantastic! The layout is impressive, and the staff is really friendly.

Might want to consider The Golf Club at South Hampton as well. It has a great mix of holes and offers a beautiful setting. What’s your budget?

For a unique experience, try the Jacksonville River Club. It’s a little pricey, but just the views are worth every penny!

Totally agree! Just don’t forget your camera. The sunsets are stunning!

I prefer the affordability of the public courses. Has anyone played at Bob Hayes Sports Complex? Good for a casual round.

I played a charity event at Bob Hayes and had a great time! It’s decent for practice, but I’d recommend trying real courses if you can.

It’s interesting that people rave about TPC Sawgrass but don’t mention its cost. It’s outrageous sometimes.

That’s true, but sometimes you pay for a great experience. The courses don’t always live up to the hype though.

What do you all think about the courses’ accessibility? Some of the better ones can be hard to get a tee time!

I had a laugh when I booked a time at TPC Sawgrass and saw a squirrel steal my sandwich on the course. Guess I paid for the view and lunchtime entertainment!

You should check out the Southside Golf Club! They have affordable rates and some great packages on weekdays.

Thanks for the tip! What are the green fees like there?
