I’d say every couple of years. New offerings pop up that may suit your needs better—or at least give you a good laugh like the pricing at some of these clubs!
I think it boils down to personal preferences. For instance, I appreciate a relaxed atmosphere. That’s why I favor Crowne Plaza Golf Club, despite not being the cheapest option!
I recently played at the Virginia Beach National Golf Club, and their amenities are top-notch! The clubhouse has a lovely restaurant with a great view of the course.

I love the 36 holes at Great Neck Park. Their clubhouse is also really inviting, especially after a long day on the course. Good food too!
