What are the best golf courses near Nashville, TN?

Nashville has some temporary deals during the off-season. If you’re flexible with your schedule, it can save you a lot. Also, try playing in the late afternoon!

Absolutely! I love playing twilight rounds. The courses are quieter and the rates usually drop significantly after 3 PM.

You might also want to check out the public courses at Shelby Bottoms. It’s a great course and usually reasonably priced.

I’ve enjoyed it! The staff is friendly and the course is well-maintained. Plus, it’s a decent challenge for the price!

That’s reassuring to know! What’s the average cost per round?

Typically, you can play at Shelby for around $30 on weekdays. Weekends might be a bit higher, around $40. Definitely worth it for the value!

That sounds reasonable! Any tips on what time is best to go?

Early morning is great for avoiding the heat—or late afternoons for those twilight rates. Just watch out for weekends; they can get busy!

Thanks for the heads-up! I might try to go early next week. Fingers crossed!

What about the club at Hermitage Golf Course? They have lovely views, and the restaurant serves some of the best Southern food I’ve ever had!

Southern food after a round sounds amazing! Do they have any good facilities for hosting events too?

Yes, they have event spaces that can accommodate weddings or corporate outings. It’s a beautiful setting.

While we’re on the subject, I wasn’t too impressed with the amenities over at Montgomery Bell. The clubhouse felt outdated, and the dining options were limited.

That’s disappointing. I expected more considering its popularity. What did you think of the course itself?
