What Are the Best OC Golf Courses to Play?

I’ve played at Oak Creek Golf Club, and their pro shop is one of the best around. Lots of equipment options and the staff is super helpful!

For sure! Plus, their practice areas are extensive, making it easier to warm up before a game.

What about the dining at Santa Ana Country Club? They have several options to choose from, and everything I’ve had is delicious!

I haven’t tried that! Is it more upscale or casual dining? I’m looking for a nice dinner after golf.

I would say a bit of both! They can cater to your request, whether you want a fine dining experience or something more relaxed.

Golfing at Monarch Beach is an experience! The views are breathtaking, but I feel like the food could use a bit of work.

I somewhat disagree! It’s not the worst I’ve had, but I see your point.

Great discussion! The amenities make such a difference. Have any of you tried the spa services at the OC golf resorts?

I haven’t yet! I didn’t know they offered that. What’s the experience like?

The spas are phenomenal! Perfect after a long day on the course. Makes total sense to pamper yourself!

I might just sign up for a day pass at one of these places! But first, any specific recommendations on which course has the best practice area?

If you’re looking for a great course as a beginner, I highly recommend Strawberry Farms. It has a friendly layout and the staff is super helpful!

Absolutely agree! Strawberry Farms is a gem. For those more experienced, consider Pelican Hill. The views are stunning but the course can be quite challenging.

I would add that the course at Birch Street Park is also beginner-friendly. It’s a bit less formal, which takes the pressure off.

For a mix of challenge and scenery, you can’t beat Oak Creek Golf Club. It’s tough but worth it for the experience!

Totally agree! Just remember to bring your A-game, especially on those doglegs!

What do you think about Tustin Ranch Golf Club? It’s got some tricky holes, but it’s a solid option for honing your game.

Tustin Ranch is great, but some holes can be a bit unfair for beginners. Is there any advice on managing those tough spots?

Focus on your short game! Spend extra time on putting and chipping to make up for tougher drives.

What about the cost? I’m on a budget but want a good experience. Any affordable options?
