I’m planning a golf trip to Rhode Island soon and I’m curious to know what the best public golf courses are. I’ve heard a lot about some popular places, but I want to get the inside scoop from those who have actually played there.
Key Points to Consider:
Course Quality: I want to play on well-maintained courses with good layouts.
Accessibility: It’s important that these courses are public and easy to access.
Atmosphere: I’m looking for courses with a welcoming vibe, not too pretentious.
Places I’ve Heard About:
TPC Boston: Known for its beautiful scenery and challenging holes.
Scarborough Beach Golf Links: Supposedly has great ocean views.
Cranston Country Club: I’ve seen it recommended for its friendly staff and relaxed environment.
Questions for You:
What courses would you recommend and why?
Are there hidden gems that aren’t too well-known?
How are the prices for these courses? I’d like to manage my budget during the trip.
Thanks in advance for any insights you can share! Looking forward to hitting the links in Rhode Island!
I highly recommend Twin Rivers Golf Club! The course is well-maintained and has some challenging holes. The staff is friendly too, which makes for a great experience.
I used to have trouble getting a tee time at Point Judith, but it seems easier now. Definitely worth trying! Have you guys checked out Triggs Memorial Golf Course? It’s a gem!
You can’t go wrong with the North Kingstown Golf Course. It’s approachable for all skill levels, and the pricing is fair. Plus, they often have discounts for locals!
