What are the Membership Fees at North Jersey Country Club?

I’m thinking about joining the North Jersey Country Club but I’m a bit lost on the membership fees and options available. I’m particularly interested in:

  • The different tiers of membership available (e.g., regular, family, junior, etc.)
  • Any additional fees that might come with the membership (like initiation fees or annual charges)
  • Personal experiences from current members about whether the value of membership justifies the cost

I’ve heard mixed reviews online about various country clubs, and I’d love to hear from anyone who has firsthand experience with North Jersey specifically. Is it worth it for someone who primarily plays golf, or do the other amenities play a significant role in your experience?

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone! I’m really interested in joining North Jersey Country Club. Can anyone share what the typical membership fees are?

Hi Christina! The initiation fee at North Jersey Country Club can range from $10,000 to $30,000, depending on the type of membership you choose. Annual dues are usually around $5,000.

I think additional costs like food and beverage minimums can add up! I heard they require members to spend at least $1,200 annually at the clubhouse. Has anyone confirmed this?

You’re right, Sarah. Coupled with annual dues, it can get pricey. I think it’s worth it for the amenities, but budgeting is key.

Thanks for the info! Are there any assessments I should be aware of? Do they do capital assessments or anything like that?

Good point, Courtney! I believe there are occasional assessments, especially when the club has major renovations. Expect a few hundred to over a thousand dollars based on the project.

Wow, that’s quite a range! It can really add up if you’re not careful with your budgeting.

Don’t forget about golf cart rentals too! I think that’s like $20 per round. Just something to consider if you want to play often.

This is turning into a budget planning session! But hey, the views on the course are worth it, right?

Exactly, Howard! And think about the connections you can make. Sometimes it’s about the experience, not just the fees!

I guess it’s like any club – you get what you pay for! Just think of the networking opportunities. But man, it can be daunting upfront!

Totally agree! But if I need to take out a second mortgage just to enjoy my weekends, I might reconsider.

I’m looking into country clubs in North Jersey as well. North Jersey Country Club has membership fees around $20,000, but they offer some great amenities like a golf course, pool, and dining. Anyone have insights into their member services?

I can help! In my experience, North Jersey Country Club has excellent member services, but compared to Fairmount Country Club, which is about $15,000, NJCC does feel pricier for similar offerings.

Great info, Christopher! I agree, Fairmount is a solid choice. The amenities there are wonderful, especially for families. I heard they also offer a flexible payment plan, which is a huge plus.

True! But have you checked out Crestmont Country Club? Their fee is slightly lower but they also have top-notch dining and social events that might be worth a look!

I’ve heard mixed reviews about Crestmont’s golf course being less maintained than others. Is the dining really worth it if you’re an avid golfer? Just a thought!

I think it depends on what you’re looking for! If golf is your main focus, go with North Jersey. But if you want a community feel with diverse social activities, Crestmont or Fairmount could be a better fit. Any thoughts on Woodhaven Country Club?

Woodhaven is great! Their membership fees are around $18,000 and they have a family-friendly vibe. Plus, they offer a fantastic kids’ program, which might be great if you’ve got kids.
