What do you think about the AVX golf ball? Need your reviews!

I recently came across the Titleist AVX golf ball and I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it. I’ve seen some buzz around its performance, but I need a deeper dive into what makes it stand out.

Key areas I’m interested in:

  • Distance: How does it compare to other premium balls?
  • Feel: Is it soft enough for those delicate chips around the green?
  • Spin: How does it hold up on approach shots?
  • Durability: Does it scuff easily or hold up well over a round?
  • Overall Suitability: How does it fit different golfing styles?

If you’ve played with the AVX, please share your experience! Any comparisons with other balls you’ve tried would be really helpful. Looking forward to hearing your reviews!

I’ve been using the AVX balls for a few months now, and I have to say the distance is impressive. They really seem to fly off the clubface smoothly compared to my usual Pro V1s.

I’ve had a similar experience! The feel on the greens is fantastic. They provide great feedback without being overly soft.

I tried the AVX and found the accuracy to be quite impressive as well. They tend to hold their line well in windy conditions. How do they compare in spin to others?

Absolutely agree! While they may not spin as much as the Srixon Z-Star, I’ve found their distance compensates nicely.

I’ve often wondered if the AVX is worth switching to from my regular TP5 balls. How do they measure up in terms of feel around the greens?

Honestly, I think the AVX feels great around the greens! It’s soft enough for nice control but still firm off the tee for distance. I’d give them a try, Thomas!

That’s good to know! I might have to take the plunge and buy a dozen to test out on the course.

I won a sleeve of AVX at a tournament and was pleasantly surprised. Couldn’t believe how much distance I gained compared to my usual balls. Is it just me, or are they a game changer?

I thought the same! My buddies joke that I’m cheating, but it’s all the AVX!

So, is there a downside to these balls? I’ve heard mixed reviews regarding durability. Anyone had issues?

I recently tried the AVX balls and was really impressed with their distance and feel. They seem to cut through the wind well, making them great for my game this fall.

I’ve had the same experience! The feel around the greens is amazing. I’d definitely recommend them for anyone looking to improve their short game.

I’ve been using AVX for a few months now. The durability is solid; I’ve only gone through a few balls. They hold up well, even when hitting from the rough.

That’s good to hear! Usually, I break a ball every round, but maybe I should give these a shot.

How do they perform in wet conditions? I play a lot during the spring when it’s rainy.

The AVX balls perform decently well in the rain! I’ve played in some damp conditions, and they still maintain a good grip and distance.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the AVX. Some say they’re too soft. Is that the case for everyone?

I think they have a perfect balance! Softness is great for feel, especially on the greens. It all depends on preference.

I love my AVX balls! They’re almost like marshmallows flying through the air. Just try not to eat them! Haha.
