I prefer wearing hiking shoes—super durable and great for varying surfaces. They make a big difference!
Hiking shoes do sound great! I hadn’t thought about that option for the Open!
I think tennis shoes are basically designed for these types of events. They’re comfortable but also stylish!

Remember to break in any new shoes before the event; nothing worse than fresh shoes giving you blisters on day one!
Great reminder! I always forget to do that, and I end up regretting it at these events.
I’m considering wearing my old Skechers—loved them in college! They are so comfy, although I wonder how they’ll hold up on the grass!
They should be okay as long as the soles aren’t too worn down. Just keep an eye out for wet spots!
