I did a quick comparison for my own research. Porter Valley has competitive dining and fitness facilities, although the initiation fee can be high. Still considering it, though!
True, but I think you can negotiate a little, or at least get some perks if you sign up with a group. Has anyone tried that?
I wish I could negotiate! But honestly, some members have told me the experience is worth it. Have you ever played a round there? It’s a different vibe!

I have! It’s relaxing, and the staff is super friendly. Definitely different from some of the other options I’ve felt unwelcome at.
I’m still on the fence about Porter Valley. My neighbor said it’s overpriced and not worth it, but I think personal experiences vary greatly.
Totally! Plus, if the community and service are good, that often makes up for higher costs.
A friend of mine says it’s a great place to unwind after work. I haven’t heard a single one-liner about it yet. Just good experiences!
