Where Can I Hit Golf Balls Nearby?

Exactly! If someone sees you, just ask if it’s okay to practice. My bad experience was when I accidentally hit a ball towards a group, oops!

I found a great place at Maplewood Golf Course. They have a driving range open to the public, and it’s pretty affordable at $10 for a bucket of balls. It’s a perfect spot for beginners!

That’s awesome! Does Maplewood have any special programs for beginners? I’m just starting out!

Yes, they offer a beginner clinic once a month! It’s a small fee for a full day of instruction, plus range access. Highly recommend it!

That sounds perfect! I’ll have to check when the next one is. Thanks for the info!

If you’re near downtown, the City Park driving range is also great. No membership needed, and they have night hours too. The fee is similar, about $12.

City Park sounds fun! Do they have any specific times that are less crowded?

Typically, weekday afternoons are less busy. I’ve gone a few times then and had no wait for the stalls!

That’s good to know! I’m more of an early bird, though. Are mornings busy?

Mornings can be a mixed bag. Sometimes busy, sometimes not. It really depends on the day—definitely worth checking out!

If you all want some humor, I once thought I was hitting the ball straight and ended up hitting a tree! But hey, practice makes perfect, right?
